About this journal

Layout:
This is my test blog for getting reaquainted with editting html, etc.
Outernet was created from the opposite of internet, and inspired by a cd from a japanese artist called Globe. Layout features Aya from Weiß Kreuz anime. Inserted lyrics are from the song "My Immortal" by Evanescence.
Made with my crappy "skillz" at HTML, PS7 and FW3.

The pains of allergies.
Monday, February 2, 2004

Alas, it has truely been quite a while since my last update. I completely phased out for a while, being quite busy with my own things. Then again, nothing very extrordinary has occured within the last few weeks anyhow, other than a few minor notables.
Anyhow, I've taken back to playing an occasional game of Initial D and loading up on energy drinks again. God damn do those things work. As much as I'd prefer a nice cup of tea or coffee, these things have just about the same amount of bang in less time. Even so, the coldness and carbonation of it just takes its intended effect a step further. I've spent many a night completing delayed homework whilst smacking down one after another. As great as they work, you'll end up finding yourself up until 4 in the morning, realizing that you're only going to get a measily 2 hours of sleep before being herded up to go to damn school. Fuck. Even so, I don't know what I would do without these things.

Yeah, so the superbowl passes and I once again, don't really watch it. I did, however, hear about the rather interesting occurances, particlarly that of the half-time show. After listening to a few of my fellow student's opinions, it seems there is a varied response to what occured. Some say it was intentional, and others thought it was truely an accident. I must say, that in this kind of situation, I can see that both can be true.
By the by, I came across this interesting test. It is quite simple, but also fun as hell to watch other people do. I wonder if anyone can beat my score?

I did it in 5 seconds.
I deserved an A++!!
Take the How Dexterous Are You? Quiz!!

Haha, 5 second flat. Good luck >=P

Woo, back from Vegas
Wednesday, December 31, 2003

Yar, back from vegas after a 4-day 3-night trip. Let's just say that it was rather "interesting." Roomed with Richard and Alan because my family's room is too overcrowded, which ended up in all of us staying up rather late and watching Family Guy. Wow, I think I must have seen almost every episode in season 3 of Family Guy in just one day.
But yeah, trip was pretty good, characterized by much money lost in arcade and carnival games as well as gorging in local restaurants and the Rio buffet . . . mmmnnn crab legs x_X . . . But asides that, Vegas is filled with porno and immigrants trying to give you advertisements to strippers clubs and hookers bars. They even gave it to a few of my freaking friends and they're but only 15 and 16.

And I got straight A's on my semester reports~ Fuck yeah~ My work actually paid off. I can't believe I pulled an A going into the AP Bio and Physics finals with only a 91%.

Hmm, I think I'm going to go eat some more.

Release.
Friday, December 19, 2003

Yeah, so finally final exams are finished. I feel like a huge weight has just been knocked off of me, however, there still remains some. I haven't had the time to write criteria papers for a few scholarships so there's a chance that I won't get them in with letters of rec on time. Ugh. In addition, I'm still currently praying that I still have an A in my AP Bio class as my grade was teetering dangerously close to a B entering the final . . .
Well, hmm lesse . . .

Academic Decathalon - A+
Symphonic Strings - A+
AP Physics - A
Japanese III - A
AP Calculus I-II - A
AP Biology ???
AP American History - A+
AP English Writing/Composition - A

Thus, leaving only bio to worry about. God, if I get an A I will be eternally grateful to you. Oh God. . Er, yes... anyhow.
So yeah, winter break, the 2 weeks of rest has finally kicked in. Sooooo needed. Release from work, from study, ah, this is heaven. I think me and a few friends are gonna go up to north Arizona to go skiing. I'll probably try ski/blading or snowboarding again, although I think I completely forgot how to do so.

On another note, got to watch LotR III today and it just blew me away. It is wonderful to see a GOOD trilogy for once, more notably a trilogy based upon a book that does not BUTCHER THE ORIGINAL STORY. The cinematography is simply breathtaking, and Legolas has his usual "show-off" fighting mover in the movie. The actors were brilliant, atmosphere wonderful. This series is just unbelievably good. I must buy the DVD set once it comes out.

Purchase, mhn
Friday, December 12, 2003

Well, got a gameboy SP today. I've been debating upon it for quite some time and figured it'll be better than another console system or game. I'm out of the house all the time and don't really have much time to sit down and play games, so I suppose this provides a sort of "on the run" deal.
Well, it's an onyx colored SP, bought Final Fantasy Tactics ADV with it since it's one of those games that can last for a while. Figured I'd borrow games from Joe and Brian if i need them, and maybe gradually purchase a few select RPGs as they come. Cost me a total of $140, ouch.

Well, asides from that, just got finals to study for. I cannot wait until these finals are over. I better get an A in all my classes or else I'm going to kill someone, heheh.

New Layout Up
Thursday, December 11, 2003

Well, I decided to just throw something together for fun. You might be able to tell I made it while on an Evanescense binge and yeah, the song My Immortal was playing while I was browsing so I decided to use it.
'sides, I kind of enjoy the dark moody atmosphere it presents. A little better than that deep hue of blue I had before.

Well, life's been busy as usual, just entering finals next week so I've been studying my ass off lately. I'm beginning to regret my 7-class workload since now I have to take 7 different finals. Yeah, it fucking sucks.
Physics has been a pain, Bio I'm just worried about whether I'm going to get an A or not. Stupid bad startoff.

Well, I'm off to finish more work. Got to tackle my calc homework buildup today so I don't smother myself next week.

Alright, I've been busy as hell lately, but finally Thanksgiving break is coming up. Maybe now I'll do some more updates, thinking of tossing in a new layout .. haven't figured out what yet, but I'm going to incorporate "The Taste of Ink" or "Caught In the Sun" lyrics in it. .

Ownage baby~
Sunday, November 16, 2003

Oh fucking hell yeah. Our school just wiped the boards at Mountain Pointe regionals for acdec, it was an honors award rape. Overall scores were decently close, but we took a whole shitload of awards. This is definately awesome.

Er. . which leads partially to the reason of why this journal hasn't been updated lately. I've been caught up in homework and studying. . not to mention I've just been making up a crapload of homework I missed just over the last few days at school.
Ah, the feeling to have your work pay off.

Yeah, back to makeup work I go. I'm thinking of changing the layout again, maybe to something a shade of dark grey. . any theme ideas anyone? Ah well, I'll think of something.

How amazing it feels just to live again.
Monday, November 3, 2003

Well, it's due time for another update. Nothing really going on much at all. Halloween passes by just like any other day, except I went over to Nicole's again with a few others and just hung out at her pad. Watched 28 days, it was pretty good I guess although it reminded me a lot of Resident Evil games.
The food at Nicole's house has never ceased to amaze me. I think i ate 3 cheeseburgers and a hot dog that night. . could have kept on going but we had to leave since it was getting late. . what a pity.

Food, oh food and all the joys it brings. And God, I love this innate asian metabolism that I have. It's awesome to eat all the stuff I want, yet barely gain any weight at all.

Math test sucked pretty bad. Could have gotten a fucking 98, but I made two stupid mistakes that lowered it to an 88. Ugh, my grade is falling back to 91-ish again "like a soldier being pushed back a little while fighting up a hill" as Mr. Stone says. Damn his tests. . .
I did, however, do well on my Bio exam like I have been lately. I think I figured out a process in dealing with Dole's work and tests that helps get all the info needed into my head. Yep, works so far. too bad it doesn't work for Calc 1/2, otherwise that would be sweet.
Uaa. . I want to go do something. I hate sitting around like this.

Blue and yellow, and it's all in how you mix the two,
and it starts just where the light exists.
It's a feeling that you cannot miss,
and it burns a hole
through everyone that feels it.

Well you're never gonna find it,
if you're looking for it,
won't come your way.
Well you'll never find it
if you're looking for it.

Should've done something but I've done it enough.
By the way your hands were shaking,
rather waste some time with you.

And you never would have thought in the end,
how amazing it feels just to live again.
It's a feeling that you cannot miss,
it burns a hole through everyone that feels it.

Should've said something but I've said it enough.
By the way my words were faded,
rather waste some time with you.

Alive at last
Sunday, October 26, 2003

Well, Nicole, I have to say that your party was truely fun. Even though we didn't do anything extravagent, a good time simply socializing to some kickass music with some food that made me thing, "fuck, this is good" was just simply wonderful. Then again, you really didn't know about it at all huh? So I suppose the correct person to thank would be your mom and anyone else who helped out in planning it.
Anyhow, I feel guilty about not getting a present, so I'll do that sometime. Yeah, I'm late as usual.

Other than that, I feel refreshed. No homework really this week, and I was busy for the entire weekend. Just got back from running a few miles with Kenny and it feels good to work my legs again. I'm pretty sure I fucked up my math test though, so my calc grade is going to go down the drain. Damn tests.

On a side note, seems like my good friend Brandon got into a car accident that battered him around enough to send him to the hospital in critical condition. Man, I hope you get better. Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to visit ya, but you know that I worry for you. Hang in there. It's a little scary, recently so many people I know have been getting into accidents. My english teach got into one while another person at my school was killed. All in the same week. Just gives you a reality check on how dangerous it can be driving around. I know that if I ever got into an accident that wasn't caused by me, the other person is going to die, 'cause by then my car would have a lot of money invested into modding it. For example, if my suspension or engine gets wrecked, someone will have their head off that day.

On a side note, Golfland just got another twin Initial D machine. This simply kicks ass.
I haven't listened to much music lately, but I just downloaded The Used and Fuel's new Natural Selection cds and it feels good to get reaquainted again.

Yes, I did update Fei, but Pitas had a heart attack and lost all information changed in the past week, so basically the entries reverted back to the point prior to my last update. Anyhow, yep, I kicked out flooble because it fucks my computer up by changing my IE homepage randomly to some weird porn site or some site tha gives my 100000000000000 popups. So yeah, go fuck off flooble. Added Haloscan comments ala Rika, I kinda borrowed the idea from her, heheheh. Nothing other than that. . too tired to update about day or anything else. Maybe later.

Rejoice!

Indeed, it is a time for much rejoicing and celebration. Fall break week is approaching and we have a late start as well as a half day this school week. Wonderful news. I can finally take a semi-break that I've desperately needed over the current extent of the school year.

Anyways, turns out I'm now a tech officer at my school's Model UN club. It sounds somewhat interesting I suppose. I'll be responsible for the graphics and a few minor details. . time to polish my Photoshop skills again, heheh. The club sounds pretty fun I suppose, if you can call it fun. I'd consider it more of a specialized debate/speech club, since that's really all that it is composed of.

Recently to my great amusement, I reread an article that talked about how Benjamin Franklin was very good with the ladies. Believe it or not, it turns out he was the "hot idol" of his time, and all women swooned around him. If I recall, I believe it stated that he had several relationships with other women despite being married. . . Benjamin Franklin, you naughty boy you. . . -_O; . . . now that I think about it, it disgusts me a little. . .

And now. . .
Sunday, October 5, 2003

. . . this blog has officially started. Yes folks, I'm pernamently moving to this url/blog site for now. My Xanga and LJ won't be getting any more updates, so everything will be in here now.
Now about the current layout. Yes, it isn't really that great, but it's the best I can do at the moment. I suppose later on when I decide to archive this and create a new layout, it'll be better since I'll be somewhat familiar with the source code editting and my PS from usage. Eitherway, I'm pretty sure it will be better.

Anyhow, schoollife has been rather interesting as of late. I am doing fairly well in most of my classes, and catching up in those that I've been dwindling around borderline in. Last Friday, my math test score was a 95, which was already enough to rejoice about knowing Mr. Stone. I tried out for the school pit orchestra for our school play this year. Dunno if I'll make it, but if I do, it'll be a hassel. Good times. In the end, it'll be fun I suppose.

On a side note, I did not get to make my weekly Golfland run, which was a little dissapointing. Jamie is now charging at my time, which I will definately have to lower. -_-;

I got my flute as well. It's called a xiao and it's basically considered the chinese recorder. Quite wonderful I must say, although I really can't play "music" with it yet. I'll reach that point soon enough, maybe once I stop getting dizzy everytime I play the damn thing.

Anyhow, I'm off, gotta finish some work.

Alrighty, so I'm not exactly the best at creating stuff. . but I suppose this is decent for me getting it done in around 6 hours of work. Not too bad I suppose, since I made everything from scratch and wrote all the source coding myself. heh -_-; Anyhow, I'll just continue to kick this thing around a bit. I've lost a bunch of skills with PS7 so the layout is a little bland. ::shrugs:: ah well.
